The MonoMouse arrived yesterday and the lady for whom it was obtained and who is aged 91 was in full control of it so quickly. She was so delighted - "I can read, I can read!" She rang two friends in Sydney and her son in London last night to tell them the good news, she was so thrilled. One just does not understand the magnitude of such a handicap until it is seen first hand.

It is one thing to diagnose macular degeneration, but the doctor should prescribe treatment for it, and the MonoMouse is the only treatment. Ridiculous when the cost is little more than prescription glasses.
